This is a heartfelt thank you note to tell you how much we appreciate the donation of your violin! Your gift helps us further our mission of building a vibrant urban community where students can make beautiful music together. This year, 80 students received intensive tuition-free lessons in violin, viola, cello, and bass under the tutelage of the Haven String Quartet (HSQ). These lessons are possible because of your support. If your donation is appraised you will receive a second letter.
Thank you again for your donation. We look forward to seeing you at one of our upcoming virtual Music Haven events.
Thank you so much for all the blankets! This is a belated thank you, but truly meant. Some of our guests sleep outside, or go place to place. These blankets are portable and warm. The need for food and clothes has increased. We give out over 500 bags of food every Saturday. And warm clothes and blankets are in great demand. Thanks for filling a need!

On behalf of all the clients Columbus House serves, thank you and Probus Club of Greater New Haven so much for your thoughtful contribution for the Walling ford Emergency Shelter. We received your in-kind donation of blankets in honor of your grandchildren on May 21, 2021.
Your gift is especially appreciated and needed as we continue to navigate the pandemic as it helps to protect the health and safety of everyone who comes to us for shelter and services. Thanks to caring people like you, over 510 households - including 143 Veteran households - moved into affordable apartments since the onset of the pandemic. Our vulnerable neighbors continue to stay safe while staying at the hotel in New Haven, and are being provided with nutritious meals, basic necessities and vital programs. This could only happen with your support.
Your continuing partnership and commitment to our neighbors is vital to our mission. Thank you for being part of the solution to end homelessness.

The woman veteran who was the recipient of the keyboard, stand, bench, and music stand was THRILLED!
She said that being able to play music will be very helpful for her.
I wanted you to know that what you do has an impact on people's lives, and in our case in the lives of veterans!
Many thanks -we are grateful!
